New Wine 2010
We’ve just got back from a great week at New Wine 2010: Unstoppable. Highlights include: Camping with more than 30 others from St George’s, and just down the hill from other friends from St James Gerrards Cross. Morning Bible teaching from Simon Ponsonby, looking at parables of the kingdom in Matthew 13.  Also some wonderful reminders of God’s love for us. Evening worship...

New Website for St George's Church →

It was a wonderful time as so many friends from St George’s Britwell gathered with my family to support and pray for me as I begin this new ministry.  I was particularly encouraged by my supporting clergy: Rev’d Peter...

Loving Liturgy
This evening I went to evening prayer at the church of St Margaret of Antioch, Iver Heath. The service followed the Book of Common Prayer (1662) and it was calmly spiritual and wonderfully English. Well-written liturgy is beautiful, poetic, dramatic. It has rhythm and pace. There are well-crafted sentences and phrases that stick in the mind.  Much of the beauty of liturgy comes from its...
